Tips For Increasing Your Fertility

by Elmer Perry

If you are a woman that is trying to get pregnant, there is a good chance that you want to do everything you can in order to boost your fertility. If your fertility is increased, then you will be able to get pregnant more quickly and will therefore be able to start a family on a faster timeline. Here are some tips for increasing your fertility in order to be able to have children and start your family.

1. Cut Back on Alcohol and Caffeine

The first thing that you should do is cut back on your alcohol and your caffeine. The reason for this is that there is some evidence to suggest that drinking alcohol will change your estrogen levels, which will therefore make it slightly less likely that your egg will implant correctly. You need your egg to implant in order to successfully conceive. By cutting down on alcohol, you increase the chances that your estrogen levels will remain normal and that implantation will be successful.

You want to cut back on caffeine because caffeine can also possibly mess with your hormone levels in a way that is not conducive to having a baby. You don't need to entirely cut out alcohol and caffeine. You just need to cut them both back to no more than a serving or two a day.

2. Lose Some Weight

The next thing that you should consider is losing weight. You want to be sure that you remain well-nourished but that you also lose some fat. If you have excess amounts of fat, your body's hormone creation might be altered, which can make your ovulating cycles less likely to allow you to conceive. Talk to your doctor about losing some of your excess fat in a safe way in order to maximize the efficacy of your ovulation.

3. Go Organic

Pesticides can reduce the fertility of both men and women. If you are frequently cooking for your male partner, consider ditching anything that is not natural and organic and instead going with the organic fruits that you wash thoroughly. This will reduce your overall pesticide intake and therefore increase your fertility. If you don't have a lot of organic food available, make sure that you wash off any residue that is on your inorganic food in order to remove as much of the pesticides that you can.
